Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Year 9 or Year 11 at a public high school can now apply for a GO Foundation scholarship.

Applications are now open for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Yr 9 or Yr 11 at a public high school to apply for a GO Foundation scholarship.

Founded by Adam Goodes and Michael O'Laughlin, the GO Foundation's burning desire is to create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth through education.

The GO Foundation chooses students based on several criteria. The selection criteria for the 2022 Public High School Scholarships are as follows:

  • school attendance
  • aspiration
  • cultural identity
  • giving back
  • demonstrated need for financial assistance.

Scholarships include access to GO Foundation cultural mentoring and aspiration days, access to opportunities including internships and work experience. GO Scholarships also include financial assistance for educational tools and resources.

The closing date for applications to be submitted (including supporting references) is 5pm 21 March 2022. No applications will be accepted after this time.
